Job Summary:

The Residential Construction Salesperson will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the remodeling process. This role requires a deep understanding of residential construction, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
  • Client Consultation: Meet with potential clients to discuss their remodeling needs, provide expert advice, and develop customized project proposals.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our remodeling services.
  • Project Estimation: Collaborate with the project management team to develop accurate project estimates and timelines.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and close sales deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the client and the company.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the residential construction or remodeling industry.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Construction, or a related field preferred.

Skills:

  1. Strong understanding of residential construction processes and terminology.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  4. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  6. Strong negotiation and closing skills.

Benefits:

  • The base salary for this position is $60,000. (This rate is subject to increase based on demonstrated experience, performance evaluations, and longevity with the company).
  • This position has the potential to switch to a commission based style.
