We recently hired Good Morning Remodel to finish our 1960’s 1500sf basement that came with a lot of quirks and hurdles. The entire experience from start to finish was absolutely top notch. Sam, the owner, was professional, respectful, intentional, timely, and the cost was completely reasonable for the scope of work. There were no surprises in the budget, the work was done in the timeline that was promised, and every attention to detail was given. We had the best project manager, Jay; he was here almost daily to make sure the project was running smoothly. The entire GMR team was outstanding, down to each and every subcontractor that walked through the door. We would not hesitate to use this company again for future projects and would shout from the rooftops to encourage others to do the same. If we could add more stars to this review, we would! 10/10.

I hired Good Morning Remodel to install a hood vent in the kitchen with an exhaust port going outside. I have to say, they did an amazing job. They were on time, took time to make sure roof is water proof, asked questions and opinion during the job, and cleaned up. They are professional and reasonably price. I 100% recommend!

First, I NEVER do surveys as I grew up in a time where it was expected to give and receive the best job, submitting a survey just seems odd. However, with Good Morning Remodel, I must step up and express my gratitude and true appreciation to this entire team. I interviewed 5 or 6 companies and wanted to give up. I faced so many difficulties trying to get a good solid quote for a large, covered patio build. Facebook picked up on my algorithms and introduced me to Good Morning Remodel and on a whim, I decided to call. Immediately I appreciated the ease of information and knowledge offered so I followed through with their onsite visit. From my initial phone conversation with Sam to the entire build completion, it was a smooth, simple, and completely positive experience. Without hesitation, it felt like my build was personal to them. They asked the right questions and offered suggestions or recommendations as the experts leaving me with no unexpected situations. Electrical and gas lines in the right places, ceiling lights measured and centered around my selected ceiling fans, dimmer switches, ceiling height, etc. are all where they need to be and with very clean lines. Every inspection passed without issue and even Cherokee County noted their outstanding work. Jay and his team were onsite every morning early looking clean and refreshed working non-stop all day and cleaned the entire job site every evening. No trash, no nails, no wood scrapes, no equipment left scattered, all nicely placed allowing us to safely enjoy our space for the evening. We had no delays throughout as all materials were ordered and delivered as needed and updates communicated where appropriate. In the end, it was just a true pleasure working with this group and we ended up with an exceptional build that we are very proud of. So, without ANY hesitation it is my pleasure to offer an exceptional OUTSTANDING RECOMMENDATION around Good Morning Remodel. We totally appreciate all the pride their entire team put into their work, leaving us with an outdoor space we will enjoy for years to come.

We had a failed shower pan. It ruined our whole upstairs primary bathroom. Remediation company was great but not great when it came to estimating and providing clarity or confidence in their plan to “restore” things. We ended up holding on doing anything for 3 months while we pondered what we really wanted.
We shared our concern with a neighbor who had just used them for their house addition and knew there was something special because their project came out looking amazing!
From the first call… Sam listened and came back to us with a game plan to address our entire wishlist (while we were at it and all).
Sam and his team transformed and fixed our drab 2000-esque bathroom into the vision we had for it with some great recommendations and suggestions along the way.
Had to take it down to the studs. Found some major problems that we had suspected (1950s house that was flipped in the early 2000s… this came as no surprise - but the flipper cut corners).
Sam and the various team who were on site educated and showed us all the things before and during (when found). Remediated all the issues and did an exquisite job transforming our ‘vision’ board to reality within the estimated budget. Always knew what the bill was going to look like based on his estimates, frequent updates, and provided tracker.
At the time, he didn’t work directly with home owners insurance - but the scope/estimate had all the things for us to submit for adjuster review. Got us 2.5x the other company got. We still came out of pocket because home owners insurance only gets it back to the way it was.
Sam & team fixed some potentially awful things and definitely added value to our home. Loved the experience and updates he provided (through the buildertrend app or whatever and periodic text threads with my spouse).
The buildertrend app and updates made it clear what was being worked, why, and provided reasonable windows for various parts of the entire rebuild.
I’m so glad we waited and found Sam’s team. We slow rolled starting but when things started - his team executed and delivered. The tile work was immaculate.
Personally, I would absolutely trust his team and hire them again for next project (which we’re thinking about). Worth the additional effort of working with our own insurance company. Worth the extra money we invested to get our dream bathroom. It’s now a sanctuary that is perhaps the best insulated room in our house.
Added some photos of the finished work before we added finishing touches like rugs and towel bars. It really exceeded expectations.

These guys are awesome. We unexpectedly needed a total bathroom remodel, and Sam and his team were life savers. Everything about the project plan and scope was super clear from the get-go and they helped us make good decisions every step of the way. We could not possibly be happier with the finished product! Every aspect of the work from the framing to the plumbing to the tiling was done to an expert standard. Great experience! They screened in an existing awning for us - a quick and less expensive path to a screened porch. Garret and Sam were easy to work with throughout the whole process. We ran into some minor hiccups, but they were always quick to propose solutions and make things right. Previous contractors have made us feel like a problem for pointing out issues we want addressed, but we never felt that way with GMR. Also, all of the ~8 people we had at our house were kind, professional, and did great work. We definitely plan to use GMR for future projects!

I will say that we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of the work GMR did on our home. When Sam first came out, we were at a loss for what to do with our aging deck. He was very professional, showed considerable experience when making plans and suggestions. He also used that experience to get the most out of our budget. Garrett, Ket, and other employees that were at our house at various times were all very professional and treated our spaces as there own. One of our favorite parts of the process was when anyone spoke of the project, they referred to it as "our project or our investment". This told me they took personal pride in the work and what it meant to us. Even when they had to suggest replacing something that we didn't plan on replacing or we needed to add gutters that we didn't plan on. Protecting the money we had already spent was a top priority. We have and will continue to enjoy our deck for many years. When it comes to any of our future projects, Good Morning Remodeling will be the only number we call.

Sam and his team knocked it out of the park. We got our siding replaced with fiber cement and topped it off with a fresh coat of paint. Our 17 year old house looks brand new! The team faced some rough weather along the way and they were able to pivot nicely to get the job done. Good Morning Remodel built happiness in our backyard! Our large family has been in the same small house for 28 years, with a tiny back patio that could fit 1 chair under cover. But with their vision and expertise, we now have a new family gathering spot that we use 365 days a year! They were affordable, dependable, friendly, respectful, on time, and very fast to completion. I can’t believe we didn’t do this 25 years ago! I’m sure that this surprisingly modest investment would fetch more than double if we sold the house, but now we LOVE this oasis and we will stay put. We now have 500 square feet of outdoor living space, including a grilling deck, a hot tub, table chairs and sofa seating for 10+, large ceiling fans, variable LED can lights, quad-LED flood lights, cafe light strands, large potted plant ledge, new fence, beautiful sky-blue ceiling (keeps the bugs away), black columns with decorative corbels, and new grass. We always joke that we’ve left for the weekend to an AirBnB in the mountains as we drink our wine in the hot tub! But we don’t need to go anywhere - this is the best place to be! I’ll attach some before and after pictures here to show the transformation. I highly recommend Good Morning Remodel for any home remodel, and I encourage families to improve their outdoor space and invite everyone over!
