Residential Construction Project Manager
Job Summary:
The Residential Construction Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of residential construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Team Management: Lead and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution.
- Permitting and Compliance: Ensure all necessary permits are obtained and that projects comply with local building codes and regulations.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
- Quality Control: Oversee all construction activities to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
- Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and Daily reports.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in residential construction.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.

Benefits:
- The base salary for this position is $60,000. (This rate is subject to increase based on demonstrated experience, performance evaluations, and longevity with the company).
- This position has the potential to switch to a commission based style.
